Truro Canoe Racing Club paddles on the beautiful River Truro, offering a safe and scenic stretch of water that’s ideal for both beginners and experienced paddlers. Training times are planned around the tides to ensure safe and enjoyable conditions, and details are shared in advance of each session.

The club is supported by a team of qualified and experienced paddlesport leaders who oversee training sessions and club activities. Our leaders ensure sessions are run safely, inclusively and at a level appropriate for the paddlers attending. Whether you are a junior just starting out or an adult returning to paddling, you’ll receive guidance and support to help you develop confidence and skills on the water. We are proud to have a growing team of trained paddlesport leaders within the club, strengthening the safety and quality of our sessions.

We’re a friendly, community-focused club and communication is important to us. Members are invited to join our private club Facebook group, where we share training updates, tide times, race information and general club news.
